Green Park is an all new employment park to be built at junction 38 on the M62. It is anticipated that when complete the site could provide several hundred new jobs. Work is due to commence in July on the estate roadways and the first phase of buildings will be completed early 2015.
The park has been designed with sustainability in mind and the buildings will all be built to BREEAM ‘very good’
Careful consideration has been given to the energy requirements for the site and the developer Horncastle is bringing forward plans for part of the electricity required by the businesses occupying the new offices and industrial buildings to be generated on site from a single wind turbine located to the north of the main spine road.
Following consultation it is proposed to submit a planning application to the local council.
