This weekend Horncastle Group Chairman Andrew Horncastle will join a group of 10 cyclists to begin a ride from Lands’ End to John O’Groats in order to raise money for The Daisy Appeal. The Daisy Appeal is a local charity which is delivering a brand new state-of-the art PET-CT scanning facility at Castle Hill Hospital while also funding scientists at Hull University who are helping to develop PET-CT technology. PET-CT scanning can play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases including cancer, heart disease and dementia.
