We are pleased to announce that we have recently secured £3 million of investment from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for The Beacon business park on Brighton Street, Hull. Around £8 million is set to be invested in The Beacon which will be a high tech business park that could accommodate around 200 jobs.
Three detached buildings totalling more than 4,600 square metres are due to be built on the brownfield site and these will provide high quality, grade A space with accommodation being tailored to suit the needs of occupiers. We hope to begin work during 2012 and are encouraged by the events in Hull surrounding the renewable energy sector and hope that this will draw more companies to the region.
