Horncastle are delighted to be part of this year’s Hull Daily Mail Business Awards as sponsors of the Start-Up Business of the Year category, along with MKM Building Supplies.

The awards celebrate successful people & businesses in Hull & East Yorkshire and the achievements made over the last year. With some exceptional nominees recognised for various work/projects, this year sees a host of different categories including: Community Involvement, Innovation & Technology, Small, Medium and Large Business of the Year, Employee of the Year, Young Achiever of the Year and more.

Big names such as Sewell Group, Hull College Group, Smailes Goldie, Arco, BP Chemicals and others are involved this year with sponsorship of various awards.

The nominees for the ‘Start-Up Business of the Year’ award are Panda Splash; a thriving, new and exciting marketing agency with a bright future, turning over £150,000 in its first 20 months of operations, and Atom Brewing Company; a growing brewery set up in January by Allan Rice and built on the foundations of his love for both beer & science!

City Health Care Partnership, located at Horncastle development The Beacon in Hull, has also been nominated for Large Business of the Year; the category sponsored by Gosschalks solicitors.

The awards take place on Thursday 20th November at the Willerby Manor Hotel and will be headlined by High Steward of Hull Lord Peter Mandelson, who will share his thoughts about the future of East Yorkshire.
