A new lease has been agreed between Horncastle and global coffee shop brand Caffé Nero for the company to open a new outlet in the North Yorkshire town of Thirsk.

The popular coffee shop brand will replace previous tenants ShoeZone in the property owned by Horncastle group at Market Place in Thirsk. Caffé Nero, which was founded in 1990, runs over 600 shops in the UK alone and in July 2013, it’s coffee was rated best tasting among five major UK brands by independent consumer magazine Which?.

Caffé Nero prides itself on having “A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Good food and great personal service.” and will surely become a much-loved destination in the small town.

Thirsk is a traditional market town in the Yorkshire countryside and has a host of other amenities such as cafes, restaurants and pubs. Caffé Nero brings an international brand and a continental European coffee house atmosphere to the town.

Caffé Nero will shortly commence a scheme of works to refit the property and will open in the Autumn.
